how do you like to wear your boyfriend jeans?
hello, friday. i have been looking forward to this weekend cause i will be taking care of my two younger brothers. i remember the day they were both born as if it were yesterday, i can barely believe they are turning 16 and 11 in just a few months. seriously, where does the time go?! well i am trying to plan some fun outings for them, but i'm most excited to take them to see the final installment of the batman trilogy. this will be my third time seeing [can you tell i'm a HUGE movie fan?] and i think they will really enjoy it. since this will be a relaxed weekend the look i have chosen to share with you lovelies for my friday fancies is what i consider a cute version of the cozy t-shirt and boyfriend jean pairing.
yesterday the fiancé and i had our usual date night. since i have been working morning and night to ensure that we have a killer honeymoon we don't get to spend as much time together lately. to make sure this doesn't hurt our relationship, especially during the added stress of wedding planning, we make sure to have a date night every week.
last week, while watching batman for the second time with my parents, we won tickets for an advance screening of disney's the odd life of timothy green. if you've been following this blog for a bit now, then you know that i'm pretty much disney obsessed so we were excited for the movie.
we got there early to make sure we got good seats and after having my purse checked for recording devices, we were in. we love the movies so we were expecting a good one since disney usually has great movies. i had no idea to expect what i saw/experienced. the cast did an excellent job and as usual jennifer garner was instantly lovable. but timothy green stole the show! he was phenomenal and i am not embarrassed to say that i cried a couple of times [mind you i DON'T cry during movies]. if you are a movie fan, have kids or just enjoy the good things in life - go watch the odd life of timothy green this weekend!
it has been quite a while since i posted a wedding wednesday post. with my own wedding less than 5 months away i wish i could say i was done with the majority of wedding planning, but i cannot. wedding planning was so much more work than i ever expected it to be. the truth is, it is all in the details. all of the little things that you never really thought of as a little girl or an adult, like napkin colors or uplighting. with all of the decisions and choices i have had, i was happy to let my bridesmaids pick their own dresses. i did want them to look similar or at least have some similarities but i was perfectly fine having them be different dresses. i did know that i wanted show-stopping bridesmaids! i didn't want the same old strapless dress, don't get me wrong those are classic and nice, i just wanted elegance and pizzazz! here are a few beauties i drew inspiration from...
what did you/would you
have your bridesmaids wear?
